400 GenSan residents receive livelihood aid

Around 400 residents of General Santos City each received P15,000 livelihood assistance from the national government’s Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).

City Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao graced the distribution of the financial grant aimed at enhancing the socio-economic status of target beneficiaries on Tuesday.

In her message, Pacquiao thanked the national government for the program. She also underscored her administration’s commitment to work efficiently in properly implementing various sustainable livelihood modalities in the community.

DSWD Assistant Regional Director Bailano Adil Salik was also present in the ceremonial turnover.
