The local government of Columbio in Sultan Kudarat, led by Mayor Amirh Musali, earned recognition for its strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial management.
Mayor Musali received the 2026 PhALGA Excellence Award during an awarding ceremony held Tuesday, May 19, at Dakak Park and Beach Resort.
“Excellence Award with Arnold Balanay, Municipal Accountant CPA,” Musali posted on social media following the recognition.
The Philippine Association of Local Government Accountants (PhALGA) is a national organization composed of provincial, city, and municipal government accountants in the country.
The award honors Local Government Units (LGUs) and accounting offices that demonstrate excellence in fiscal responsibility, financial transparency, accountability, and good governance.
