Bangsamoro gov’t to build 12 village halls in Maguindanao del Norte

The Bangsamoro government is set to construct 12 two-storey village halls in different towns in Maguindanao del Norte.

Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) Minister Sha Elija Dumama-Alba recently formally turned over the first tranche of funds for the project to Governor Abdulraof Macacua.

The beneficiary-villages included Kuden and Poblacion in Talitay; Kiga and Kibleg in Upi; Poblacion 2, Limbayan, and Polloc in Parang; Poblacion and Gambar in Kabuntalan; Namuken in Sultan Mastura; Kidama in Matanog; and Dadtumeg in Kabuntalan.

Alba said the project is a “significant step forward in improving governance and community services throughout the province.”

It is an essential component of the 2020-2023 Bangsamoro Development Plan, he said.
