Davao de Oro launches massive relief ops in flood-hit areas

The provincial government of Davao de Oro has continued conducting relief operations in areas affected by floods due to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.

On Sunday, the provincial government reported that a total of 4,787 families have received family food packs.

These include residents from the towns of Mabini, Monkayo, Montevista, New Bataan, Maragusan and Compostela.

Latest progress report from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said that about 42,930 families or 156,751 individuals from 149 barangays were affected by the flooding.
