Duterte admin donates breathalyzer kits to Davao City police

The Davao City government led by Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte has donated six alcohol breath analyzers to the Davao City Police Office – Traffic Enforcement Unit (DCPO-TEU).

In a recent ceremony, Duterte turned over the breathalyzer kits to PCol. Rolindo Suguilon, Officer-in-Charge of the DCPO.

The donation was done in time for the recent relaunching of the program based on Republic Act No. 10586 or the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2023.

During the event, Duterte thanked the members of the TEU and DCPO for their relentless effort in ensuring the safety and security of the city, especially in the implementation of the traffic rules and regulations.

The Land Transportation Office XI, through Regional Director Eleonor Calderon, authorized 120 personnel from the TEU and DCPO to implement and enforce RA 10586.
