Gacal shares old campaign photo

General Santos City Administrator Franklin Gacal, Jr. took a trip down the memory lane.

The little mayor unearthed his early campaign materials during his politiko days and shared on Facebook one of his campaign materials he used to court voters.

“Mr. Suave.😛🤪 wala pang cellphone,” Gacal captioned.

He also shared a throwback video during the campaign period in 2019.

“Miss, miss… asa ka sa eleksyon? Kay Atty. Jeng Gacal! #FighterSaKonseho #JengGacal #14,” he posted.

Gacal, a seven-termer city lawmaker and the youngest administrator of the city in 1987, failed his vice mayoralty bid in the last elections.

When asked of his political plans, Gacal said he is still waiting for the decision of his party – the ruling People’s Champ Movement (PCM).

“I don’t know. Bahala na ang partido. But I’m enjoying my work now,” the official said.

Earlier, City Councilor Jose Orlando Acharon said Gacal may choose to seek a comeback in the Sanggunian, as he also mulls serving the administration of Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao.

“Still on planning kung VM (vice mayor) or city admin… Forced to do good na kasi ako… Jeng will run as city councilor… Under study pa man na,” Acharon added.
