GenSan achievement: First city with 100% public transport consolidation

Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista praised the city government of General Santos as an inspiration to all local government units in providing commuters with safe and comfortable travel.

During the Bagong Pilipinas Road Sector Townhall Meeting on Monday, Bautista recognized the city for pioneering and supporting the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) of the national government.

He said GenSan is the first city to achieve a 100% consolidation rate in the PUV Modernization Program.

Meanwhile, City Councilor Dominador Lagare Jr. representing City Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao received a plaque of appreciation from the transportation chief.
