Gov. Emmylou Lala Mendoza Leads Successful Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination

The Politiko led the Veterinary Health Mission in Matalam.

In a collaborative effort between local barangay and municipal officials, approximately 342 residents from Brgy. Kidama and Kilada in the town of Matalam have benefited from the recent free anti-rabies vaccination and veterinary health mission organized by the provincial government. Governor Emmylou Lala TaliƱo-Mendoza spearheaded this initiative, demonstrating her commitment to the welfare of both the residents and their animals in Cotabato.

The event, held on Tuesday and overseen by the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPVet), provided anti-rabies vaccines, vitamins, supplements, as well as deworming and treatment to a total of 7,999 “domestic and farm animals.” Governor Mendoza’s leadership in organizing such initiatives proves to be a significant aid for CotabateƱos in ensuring the health and safety of their cherished animals.

Prominent figures such as Provincial Advisory Council member Albert G. Rivera and PGO Consultant Dr. Gary P. Dondonayos, alongside other OPVet personnel, were present at the event, emphasizing the collaborative approach and dedication of the provincial government to the well-being of both the community and its animals.
