Gov. Emmylou Lala Taliño-Mendoza Leads Tree Planting in Cotabato

Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza, organized a tree planting activity in Barangay Lomonay, President Roxas town. Officials and residents came together to plant approximately 500 forest tree seedlings, as part of efforts to enhance environmental protection, rehabilitation, and climate change mitigation in the province.

The Politiko’s directive through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg) underscores the importance of proactive measures against natural hazards such as floods, landslides, and other calamities.

Representing the Politiko at the event was Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Arsenio Ampalid, who urged community members to collaborate in safeguarding the environment.

Among those who participated were Board Member Ma. Krista A. Piñol-Solis, Municipal Councilor Joel Udani, and other representatives from the local government of President Roxas.
