Gov. Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza Leads Assessment of Child-Friendly Governance Programs

Cotabato Governor Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza. Governor Taliño-Mendoza remains committed to advancing programs tailored to the needs of Cotabateño youth.

To assess and measure the level of performance of local governments in the province, especially in implementing programs aimed at improving the welfare of youth, the provincial government initiated the two-day “Table Validation on the CY 2023 Child Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA).” The event commenced on May 3, 2024, at the Governor’s Cottage, Provincial Capitol Compound, Amas, Kidapawan City.

The activity concluded on Monday, continuing at the COTGEM Multi-purpose building, Provincial Compound, Amas, Kidapawan City. The Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (PIMTF), comprised of the Department of the Interior and Local Governance (DILG)-Cotabato Province, Department of Education (DepED), Halad Uma Alang sa Nasud (HAUMAN) Association, Inc., Save the Children, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), and Provincial Planning and Development Office, spearheaded the event.
