Gov. Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza’s ‘Bookmobile Library Services Program’ Enriches Education in Arakan

The “Bookmobile Library Services Program” initiated by Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza received a warm reception from students and teachers alike in the town of Arakan, Cotabato.

Two schools in Arakan, namely Ganatan Elementary School and Meocan Elementary School, eagerly embraced the program, benefiting 369 students. The program, facilitated by the provincial library, introduced students to various activities such as puzzle making, reading time, and the use of tablets and talking pens, enriching their learning experience.

Heads of the visited schools, Mayonito E. Terado from Ganatan ES and Fe P. Lobo from Meocan ES, expressed gratitude to Governor Mendoza for her commitment to education and for implementing programs and services that aid in the realization of students’ aspirations.

Local officials from Barangay Ganatan, led by Barangay Chairman Allan C. Otti, and Barangay Meocan, led by Barangay Chairman Librado Salvaloza, also expressed joy and anticipation for continued support from the provincial government, foreseeing further improvements in their communities.
