Gov. Henry Oaminal details Visit to Cotta Shrine and Asenso Ozamiz Wellness Park

Governor Henry Oaminal and the Director of Police Community Relations, PMGen Edgar Alan Okubo, took time from their hectic schedules to visit two significant sites in the city of Ozamiz. The first stop was the historic and religious Cotta Shrine, followed by a visit to the Asenso Ozamiz Wellness Park. This visit marked an important milestone for Governor Oaminal, highlighting his dedication to public service by engaging with the community and its public spaces.

PMGen Okubo, who previously served as an Officer of the 466th Mobile Force Company in Misamis Occidental for 31 years, expressed a sense of joy and fulfillment during his visit. He found particular satisfaction in witnessing the Cotta Shrine standing as a symbol of the community’s resilience and enduring spirit. As he observed the city of Ozamiz, PMGen Okubo also noted the significant progress made under Governor Oaminal’s leadership, alongside the contributions of former Mayor and now Cong.
