Gov. Lala Taliño-Mendoza champions skills development in PTESDC quarterly meeting

On January 26, 2024, Board Member Ivy Martia Lei Dalumpines-Ballitoc represented Cotabato Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza in the “Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development Committee (PTESDC) Quarterly Meeting” held at FCG Hotel and Convention Center, Barangay Binoligan, Kidapawan City.

Governor Mendoza, recognized as the PTESDC chairperson as per Technical Education and Skills Authority (TESDA) Circular No. 25, series of 2011, was unable to attend personally.

The meeting aimed to discuss the “TESDA sa Barangay” program, year-end performance evaluations, and the presentation of resolutions concerning skills priorities.

In her absence, Gov. Mendoza’s unwavering support for TESDA’s goal of providing opportunities for financially challenged individuals, especially youth aspiring for free education or affordable skills training, was emphasized.

The meeting also featured representatives from TESDA, led by Provincial Director Relly A. Leysa, MPA, alongside DTI Provincial Director Ferdinand Cabiles and PTESDC Focal Person Jocelyn A. Tuno.
