Gov. Nilo Demerey Leads Reservist Meeting at House of Representatives

Governor Nilo P. Demerey, GSC, MPM, personally attended the Association of Reservist and Reservist Administrators of the Philippines Incorporated (ARRAP) Board of Trustees and Board of Advisory Meeting at the House of Representatives, Batasan, Quezon City, on May 15, 2024.

The meeting saw the presence of high-ranking officials including MGEN Joel Alejandro S. Nacnac PPA, BGEN Vicente M. Ronatay PN (M), COMMO Lemmuell Espartinez PN, and other representatives from the Philippine Armed Forces, Philippine Army, and ARRAP Board of Trustees.

The agenda focused on plans for upcoming activities such as courtesy visits, the establishment of a Reservist Convention, and an outreach program to the Pag-Asa Islands. Additionally, discussions included enhancing partnerships with various government agencies and institutions. A Mode of Agreement was also drafted to strengthen inter-agency relationships.

Following the meeting, attendees were introduced to key figures in the House of Representatives, including Speaker Martin Romualdez, Congressman Sandro Marcos, House Majority Floor Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe, Former President and Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Congressman Joseph Stephen Paduano, Congressman Johnny T. Pimentel, Congresswoman Drixie Mae Cardema, and Congressman Elizaldy S. What.
