Gov. Nilo Demerey Leads Turnover of Four Key Projects in Libjo

Governor Nilo “Remedy” Demerey Jr. led the official turnover of four significant projects in Libjo on March 27, 2024, demonstrating the commitment to progress and development in the region. The ceremony marked the successful transfer of facilities to the Albor District Hospital and the enhancement of roads within the Municipality of Libjo.

Under Governor Demerey’s leadership, the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility, Upgrading of Watcher’s Quarter, and improvements to the Albor District Hospital were handed over, signaling a significant enhancement in healthcare infrastructure. Governor Demerey emphasized the importance of strengthening not only the physical facilities but also the medical personnel, advocating for the addition of nurses and doctors to better address the healthcare needs of the province.

Additionally, connecting roads under the Plaridel-Arellano-Magsaysay-Osmena-Quezon-Sto. Nino (PAMOQS) project were also turned over, aimed at improving travel efficiency and accessibility to various areas within the region.

Governor Demerey expressed gratitude to the Department of Health, Provincial Engineering Office, Sangguniang Panlalawigan members led by Vice Governor Benglen B. Ecleo, and other agencies for their support in realizing these projects. These initiatives reflect the government’s dedication to addressing the essential needs of the people, spanning agriculture, fisheries, livelihood, education, and healthcare services.

Furthermore, Governor Demerey emphasized that with swift and collaborative efforts from all agencies, services can be efficiently delivered to the people, ensuring rapid progress and development across the province.
