Gov. Nilo “Remedy” Demerey Jr. Shows Off Local Talent at Creative Caraga Festival

In a showcase of local creativity and talent, Governor Nilo “Remedy” Demerey Jr. from Dinagat Islands joined the celebration of the Creative Caraga Festival. The festival, hosted by DTI Caraga and DTI Dinagat Islands at Robinsons Mall Butuan City, brought together various artists, including youth from across the region, to display their skills in singing, dancing, painting, and other creative industries.

The event aimed to celebrate National Arts Month and encourage the development of artistic skills and talents among the youth. Governor Demerey proudly sent the Isla Musika Chorale as representatives from Dinagat Islands, under the supervision of the Dinagat Islands Youth Development Office, led by Former PYDO Coordinator and San Jose SK Federated President Kim Valeri A. Tampon.

Participants expressed their gratitude for the support of Governor Demerey and the opportunity provided by DTI Dinagat Islands, led by Provincial Director Elmer M. Natad and Ma’am Richelle Joy Malawi, along with the entire staff of the Department of Trade and Industry Dinagat Islands.
