Gov. Oaminal eyes partnership with bizmen to boost tourism in Misamis Occidental

The Misamis Occidental government led by Governor Henry S. Oaminal is eyeing to reach a partnership with various businessmen to boost the tourism industry in the province.

Oaminal said he met recently with Christopher “Chet” Pastrana of FastCat; Yoav Ronen, chief executive officer of SECURA Group; Eyal Cohen, Senior Vice President of HOLDTECHPH Corporation, and other businessmen at the Manila Group Country Club.

The governor said he was excited about the “promising prospects” that emerged from his productive meeting with them.

“We’re aiming to forge a partnership that could significantly benefit the tourism industry and boost the economic sustainability of Misamis Occidental through the introduction of ferry transportation,” he said.

“Alongside (Oroquieta City) Mayor Lemuel Acosta, (Tudela) Mayor Samuel Parojinog, and Nonoy Regalado Jr., we are optimistic that this meeting will yield positive results,” the governor added.
