Gov. Ruel Pacquiao Expresses Gratitude for Vital Donations

Sarangani Governor Ruel Pacquiao, in a letter conveyed through Provincial Administrator Atty. Ryan Jay Ramos, extends sincere appreciation to key contributors for their generous support to the people of Sarangani Province in the wake of Typhoon 17 Earthquake-Affected Sarangans.

The recipients of the governor’s gratitude include the National Nutrition Council (NNC) Region XII, represented by Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator Rethsebeth M. Laquihon, RND, MPD, MDM, and Nutrition Officer III Annalita Mae Flores. Additionally, acknowledgment is given to the Department of Health (DOH) and Unicef, represented by Fredirico Yadao of the Sarangani Provincial Health Office, and Sarangani Energy Corporation and Siguil Hydro Power Corporation, represented by Alabel Municipal Councilor Joel Aton.

The substantial donations include Emergency Kits courtesy of DOH-Unicef, insecticide-treated mosquito nets, a notable P250,000 check from the National Nutrition Council earmarked for NNC Nutrition Scholars’ mobilization, and sterilized gloves and medicines from Alsons Power Group, encompassing Sarangani Energy Corporation and Siguil Hydro Power Corporation.

Governor Pacquiao emphasizes the significance of this unwavering support during challenging times, underscoring the collective commitment to the well-being of Sarangani’s constituents. The governor expresses confidence that these contributions will play a pivotal role in elevating health and hygiene standards within the communities, particularly in the aftermath of recent events.
