Gov Tamayo injects P2M fund to boost South Cotabato agri sector

South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. recently turned over P2 million agrarian reform fund to five beneficiary organizations, aimed at improving the agriculture sector in the province.

The provincial government reported that these Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBO) each received P400,000 for the completion of their processing buildings.

These organizations include the Cebuano Small Coco Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Kababaihang may Likas na Kakayahan at Talino Rural Improvement Club (KABALIKAT), Maibo Barangay Water System and Sanitation Association, Sawmill Coconut Vegetables Farmers Association (SACOVEFA) and the Tboli Agrarian Reform Women Association (TARWA)

“Our commitment to the growth and prosperity of our agricultural and economic sectors remains steadfast,” Tamayo said in a statement.

“The provincial government under our administration continuously provides essential facilities and assistance to our farmers and collective organizations,” the official said.
