Gov Tamayo to dept heads: Do your jobs or else

South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. warned department heads of the provincial government to focus on their jobs otherwise he’ll be forced to order their transfer and assign somebody to do their functions.

During Monday’s convocation program, Tamayo revealed he had received information that certain provincial government employees are disgruntled about the way the provincial government’s budget is allocated and spent.

He said some information even described the provincial government as facing a budgetary deficit.

The governor stressed that while his administration has expanded its social services, he always made sure to balance the government’s spending compared to its income.
