Isabela City gov’t unveils 90-day supplemental feeding program for pregnant women

The Isabela City government, under Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, has launched a 90-day supplemental feeding program for Nutritionally At-Risk Pregnant Women at Barangay Aguada.

The city government said the program catered to 38 pregnant women, ensuring they receive adequate nourishment for their health and the healthy development of their babies.

“The initiative underscores the city’s commitment to improving maternal health and reducing the incidence of malnutrition among vulnerable populations,” the local government said.

The program was part of the broader efforts by the City Government to promote health and well-being among its residents.

The activity, spearheaded by the City Population Management and Development Office, is part of the 50th Nutrition Month.
