Lanao del Norte SP adopts 12 resolutions; pays tribute to late board member

The Lanao del Norte Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) led by Vice Governor Allan J. Lim conducted its 82nd regular session, adopting a total of 12 resolutions.

The provincial government said of the 12 resolutions, eight were approved during the third and final reading.

“These approvals set the annual investment scheme into motion and allocated usage of the 20% development fund for the towns of Bacolod, Poona Piagapo, Linamon, and Maigo,” it said.

The SP okayed four urgent resolutions, including the proposed supplemental budget for the 2024 fiscal year for the provincial government.

The Council also passed a resolution conveying deep sorrow over the death of former Provincial Board Member Simplicio “Juny” M. Fernandez Jr., who served the 1st District of Lanao del Norte.

“This session showcased the Council’s engagement in addressing various critical affairs that influence the well-being of LDN’s towns. Simultaneously, it underscored the importance of remembering and honoring vital contributors to the community,” the provincial government said.
