Mandaluyong’s female out of school youth to get new home, says Rep. Neptali Gonzales II

Female out of school youth in Mandaluyong will soon be able to enjoy a new haven.

Mandaluyong Rep. Neptali Gonzales II led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Bahay Tuluyan or Bahay Pangarap for the out of school youth.

Gonzales ensured the funding for the project, which was a request of Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos.

The new facility will be located beside the Mandaluyong City Protection Center for Women, Children and LGBTQ.

It will have a clinic and consultant room, counseling room, staff and director’s office, laundry room, PWD comfort room and several female dormitories.

Gonzales said the bigger facility would also allow the city government to provide better guidance to the youth so that they would have a better future.
