Mati City Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat joins Davraa Meet 2024 opening ceremony

The Davao Regional Athletic Association (Davraa) Meet 2024 kicked off with a flurry of excitement and enthusiasm at the Davao City – UP Mindanao Sports Complex on Monday afternoon, April 1, 2024.

Mati City Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat, along with Vice President Inday Sara Duterte, graced the opening ceremony, underscoring their unwavering support for sports development in the region.

The presence of Vice President Inday Sara Duterte alongside Mayor Rabat and other esteemed guests added prestige to the event, highlighting the significance of Davraa as a platform for nurturing young talent and promoting sportsmanship.

Athletes from various schools gathered at the UP Mindanao Sports Complex, ready to showcase their skills and compete for glory.

Among the distinguished guests were representatives from Santos Land Development Corporation, Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Davao de Oro First District Rep. Maricar Zamora, and NCCC, demonstrating their commitment to the advancement of sports in the community.

Mayor Rabat, in her remarks, emphasized the values of dedication, perseverance, and teamwork that sports instill in the youth.
