Mayor Dalipe welcomes Spanish envoy in Zamboanga City

Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe has welcomed Spanish Ambassador to the Philippines Miguel Utray Delgado in the city.

The two officials had exchanged of pleasantries during the envoy’s visit at the City Hall recently, the local government said.

Accompanied by his son, the Spanish official was in the city last week for a series of activities that included the Business Forum organized by the City Government and Zamboecozone in San Ramon on March 1, the unveiling of the Spanish-EU-funded building of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR-9) and a visit to different tourist sites in the city among others, it said.

Dalipe thanked Delgado for the visit as he cited the enduring relationship between Spain and the Philippines, especially Zamboanga City.

Honorary Consul of Spain Ramon Balaguer and City Tourism Officer Sarita Sebastian accompanied the envoy to the City Hall.
