Mayor John Dalipe Commemorates Third Anniversary of Councilor Dela Cruz’s Passing

Mayor John Dalipe solemnly commemorated the third anniversary of the passing of Councilor Crisanto “Monsi” B. Dela Cruz, honoring his enduring legacy and significant contributions to the community.

Reflecting on their collaborative efforts during their tenure as city councilors in 2020, Mayor Dalipe recalled Councilor Dela Cruz’s pivotal role in establishing the formidable “Conscience Bloc.” Together, they espoused the principles of good governance and sincerity in public service, forging a new majority within the City Council. Their partnership served as a symbol of integrity and commitment, leaving an indelible imprint on Zamboanga City’s political landscape.

Standing in solidarity with the Dela Cruz family and close friends at Forest Lake Cemetery in Barangay Tumaga, Mayor Dalipe led a remembrance program. Among the attendees were Allan Dela Cruz, ZCWD director; Atty. Michael Dela Cruz and family; Atty. Carl Rubio and his wife, Marie Christelle, alongside other distinguished guests.
