The occasion unfolded on a Thursday morning, September 28, with Mayor Dalipe presiding as the Inducting Officer for the incoming officers of the school’s Board of Trustees, representing Batch 93rd and 94th.

The board’s leadership, led by President Richard Chan, carries the pivotal responsibility of charting Chong Hua’s course and ensuring its enduring commitment to nurturing accomplished individuals who make meaningful contributions to society.

In his address, Mayor Dalipe emphasized the profound impact of the board’s role, calling upon its members to embrace their responsibilities with fervor and vision.

He underlined that their service to Chong Hua High School equates to service for the future leaders of Zamboanga City and the nation.

The induction ceremony was graced by distinguished educators, leaders, and esteemed alumni of Zamboanga Chong Hua High School, including School Principal Dr. Simon Chua, alongside the school’s board of directors and the honorary chairpersons of the Board of Trustees.
