Mayor John Dalipe Enhances Police Mobility with 15 Motorcycle Turnover to ZCPO

Mayor John Dalipe reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to bolstering peacekeeping efforts in the city by handing over 15 motorcycle units to the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) during a recent flag-raising ceremony at Zamboanga City Hall.

At the ceremony, Mayor Dalipe officially presented the keys of 15 CRF motorcycle units to Officer-in-Charge City Police Director, PCol. Kimberly Molitas, emphasizing their crucial role in crime prevention efforts. The acquisition, funded through the 2023 Peace and Order budget, amounted to P2.92 million, with each motorcycle costing P195,000.

Before the vehicles were turned over, Rev. Fr. Filmore Calibo conducted blessing rites, symbolizing the city’s collective hope for safety and security.

Expressing his support for the city’s law enforcement, Mayor Dalipe urged the police force to uphold peace and order. He pledged continuous assistance to the security sector, particularly in logistics, to enhance public safety.

“With the delivery of these motorcycles, we anticipate improved mobility, swift response times, and heightened visibility from our ZCPO,” Mayor Dalipe remarked.

This turnover ceremony underscores the Dalipe administration’s ongoing efforts to aid in crime-fighting endeavors by the security sector. Earlier in 2023, Mayor Dalipe also facilitated the turnover of 10 Kawasaki motorcycles to the local police force.
