Mayor Pacquiao boosts GenSan’s waste management with new dump trucks

General Santos City Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao led the turnover ceremony of the new two dump truck units intended for the Waste Management Office (WMO), on Tuesday.

In a message to Politiko, Pacquiao said the acquisition of these dump trucks is a validation of her administration’s goal for GenSan to become a livable city for all its citizens.

She also urged her constituents to dispose of their garbage properly, reminding them to practice the “Tapat Ko, Linis Ko” policy which requires every household in the city to keep their vicinities clean.

“Kailangan pagtulungan nating lahat ang pagpapanatili ng kalinisan ng ating lungsod. Ang malinis na kapaligiran ay senyales ng isang maunlad na lungsod,” she added.

Joining the turnover ceremony were City Councilors Richard Atendido, Lulu Casabuena, Jose Orlando Acharon and Dominador Lagare, Jr.
