Mayor Pacquiao’s advice to newlyweds: Put God first

General Santos City Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao advised newly married couples whose weddings she officiated on February 14, to put God at the center of their relationships.

Pacquiao officiated the exchange of vows of 27 couples in a mass wedding ceremony, as part of the city’s Valentine’s Day celebration at the Greenleaf Hotel.

In a message to Politiko, Pacquiao shared the noble purpose of the city government to legally bind couples and help them receive the sacrament of marriage and avail the benefits of various government programs.

The mayor and her husband ABC President Bobby Pacquiao stood as sponsors of the newlyweds.
