Mayor Rabat leads ‘careavan’ to help flood-displaced families in Mati City

Mati City Mayor Michelle N. Rabat has led a caravan that aims to deliver the basic services to the people in the city.

The “Maternal, Mental, Nutrition Recovery Family Careavan” resumed its operations, starting with Barangay Don Enrique Lopez.

Some 30 to 40 families who lost their homes due to recent flooding and are currently staying in temporary shelters were assisted, the local government said.

The careavan prioritizes delivering essential government services to barangays, with particular attention given to vulnerable groups such as malnourished children, pregnant women at nutritional risk, individuals with disabilities, senior citizens, and the internally displaced population due to flooding, it said.
