Mayor Rellon OKs 4 city ordinances

Tagum City Mayor Allan Rellon has signed four city ordinances that aim to alleviate the lives of Tagumenyos.

The signing of the ordinances passed by the 8th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Eva Lorraine Estabillo took place Friday, October 29.

The local laws approved by the mayor include:

  • An Ordinance granting tax relief to all real property and business owners in the City of Tagum by extending the quarterly deadline for the 3rd quarter payment of real property tax and 4th quarter payment of business tax until Nov. 30, 2021;
  • An Ordinance authorizing the City Civil Registrar of Tagum City to charge socialized fees from every petitioner as prescribed under Section 27 of the implementing rules and regulation governing the implementation of Republic Act 11222;
  • An Ordinance regulating the ownership and operation of drones with camera and recording device by private persons in the City of Tagum; and
  • An Ordinance renaming the Tagum City stand-alone senior high school situation in Barangay Madaum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte to “Tagum City Regional Academy for Senior High School.” #
