The municipal government of Alabel, Sarangani has launched a Food Hub Market aimed at supporting local farmers, strengthening the local market, and promoting food security in the municipality.
The initiative was launched on Tuesday, August 18, as part of the local government’s continuing efforts to create more opportunities for farmers and local producers while making locally produced goods more accessible to consumers.
Mayor Lilibeth “Ybing” J. Salarda encouraged residents to support the initiative by buying locally produced goods and patronizing the products of Alabel’s farmers and producers.
The Food Hub Market Day is expected to continue as a key initiative of the municipal government to expand the market for locally produced goods and strengthen the connection between local producers and consumers.
