Mendoza admin surveys P58M infra projects to be implemented in Cotabato

The Cotabato government under the leadership of Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza has conducted a survey on five infrastructure projects that will be implemented in the province.

The projects to be implemented by the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) have a total project cost of about P58.268 million.

These include the construction of P2-million Slope Protection Along Pigcawayan-Patot Provincial Road (3 sections at Barangay New Igbaras, Pigcawayan); P1.2-million Slope Protection along Nicaan-Kitub-Banisilan Road, Kiaring Section;

Concreting of P5-million Doroluman to Notre Dame School Road in Arakan; P5-million Gregoria Initan Street with Lined Canal in Poblacion, Pikit; and P45-million Drainage and Line Canal, Road Signs and Marking Barangay, Pag-asa, M’lang.

Quoting PEO, the provincial government said the survey is important as this is a major requirement to prepare the program of works, plan, and other preparations for the implementation of the projects.

“Ito ay bahagi ng pagsisikap ng kapitolyo sa pangunguna ni Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza na makapagbigay ng dekalidad na proyektong pang-imprastraktura para sa mamamayan ng lalawigan,” it said.

A team under the Planning, Designing, and Programming Division of PEO conducted the survey on February 14-29.
