Minimum tricycle fare in Kidapawan City still P15 – LGU

The Kidapawan City government under the leadership of Mayor Jose Paolo Evangelista has maintained that the minimum tricycle fare in the city is P15.

This is contained in the new tricycle fare matrix that was released by the City Tricycle Franchising Regulatory Board (CTFRB). It is in accordance with the City Tricycle Franchising Regulatory Board.

The current minimum fare is based on the price of special gasoline, which ranges between P61 and P70 per liter and is being used by the tricycles in the city.

“Saka lamang itataas muli ang minimum fare sa pamamagitan ng isang ordinansa mula sa Sangguniang Panlungsod kapag lumagpas na sa P70 ang litro ng special gasoline,” the local government said.

The CTFRB and the Traffic Management and Enforcement Unit (TMEU) advised the tricycle drivers and operators not to overcharge and follow the existing fare matrix in order not to face any complaints before the Tricycle Adjudication Board.
