The release of gift packs and cash prizes was done during the City Schools Division of Tandag’s “Pag-ani: A Stakeholders’ Convergence” held on January 24.

A total of 25 teachers and non-teaching staff, honored with the Gintong Narra Award, were presented with commendable tokens of appreciation, the city government said.

Each awardee received gift packs and a cash gift amounting to P3,000.

In a separate acknowledgment, 18 retirees, whose years of service left an indelible mark, were also honored with gift packs and a cash gift of P1,000 each.

Also recognized were the six schools that demonstrated outstanding achievements.

Each of these schools was bestowed with the Gintong Narra Award, and as a token of appreciation, they received solar fans and a cash gift of P5,000.

A total of 31 Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Presidents and 15 SGC Presidents were also acknowledged for their collaborative efforts. Each president received a cash prize of P500 along with gift packs.

The city government vowed to remain steadfast in its commitment to fostering a supportive and appreciative community for educators, staff, and other stakeholders.
