Pimentel admin sends Tandag City staff in emergency medical simulation activity

The Tandag City government under the leadership of Mayor Roxanne Pimentel has participated in an emergency medical simulation activity.

Employees from Tandag City were present at Surigao del Sur Sports Complex Friday, April 5, for the event, which served as a preview of the launch of the Bureau of Fire Protection’s (BFP) F.A.S.T. (First Aid Service Team) Motorcycle Response Vehicle.

Led by BFP-Surigao del Sur, the simulation activity aimed to showcase the capabilities of the new F.A.S.T. vehicle, the Tandag City government said.

During the event, participants witnessed practical scenarios designed to simulate real-life emergency situations, focusing on rapid response and medical interventions.

“The introduction of the BFP F.A.S.T. Motorcycle Response Vehicle is expected to bolster the city’s emergency response capabilities, particularly in navigating through narrow streets and congested areas to deliver timely assistance during critical situations,” the city government said.

Surigao del Sur Governor Alexander T. Pimentel and other local and BFP officials also graced the event.
