Rep. Maricar Zamora leads distribution of TUPAD in Monkayo

Rep. Maricar Zamora reported that 200 individuals from Barangay Poblacion in Monkayo received payouts from the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program.

These beneficiaries had worked for ten days, primarily engaging in cleaning and beautification projects within their neighborhoods.

Administered by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the program’s payout event took place at the Municipal Gymnasium and was warmly received by the beneficiaries. Kapitan Raul G stood in representation during the payout ceremony.

Expressing gratitude for the program’s success, Zamora credited the support of various entities, including the Office of House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and Voice Party List.

Their ongoing assistance, she noted, has been instrumental in advancing initiatives aimed at benefiting the local populace, particularly within District Uno.

The TUPAD Program underscores ongoing efforts to uplift disadvantaged and displaced workers, offering them opportunities for gainful employment while contributing to the enhancement of their communities.
