Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong Joins Forces in Shaping National Autism Care Plan

Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong joined the Autism Society Philippines (ASP), a leading advocate for individuals on the autism spectrum, in a six-hour congressional session alongside concerned parents and lawmakers to develop a groundbreaking National Autism Care Plan bill.

Dang Uy Koe, Ljay Sumulong, Mona Magno Veluz, and Joseph Edric Tiamson represented ASP in this crucial step towards building a more inclusive and supportive environment for those on the spectrum.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this vital initiative,” shared Dang Uy Koe, ASP representative. “This bill holds immense potential to improve the lives of countless individuals and families affected by autism.”

Joining forces with ASP were dedicated parents like Paul Daza, Zia Alonto Adiong, and Laarni-Lavin Roque, alongside Committee on Health Chair Ciriaco Jr Gato and other committee members. Their passionate collaboration demonstrates the collective drive to create a brighter future for the autism community.
