Tacurong City LGU solicits hygiene kits for kids

The Tacurong City government led by Mayor Joseph George L. Lechonsito has launched a donation project that focuses on promoting hygiene and nutrition among the children in the city.

The local government under the “TATAPon ang Oral Health kag Nutrition!” is inviting individuals, families, groups, travelers, and seminar attendees staying in hotels and inns to participate by donating new toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap bars, and fingernail clippers acquired during their stays in these accommodations.

“If you have extra items at home or would like to purchase some, we welcome your generous contributions,” the city government said.

But it reminded that all items to be donated are new and have not been used and the items shall be securely placed in a resealable plastic bag for cleanliness and safety.

The donations can be dropped off at the designated box in the City Hall Lobby and donors can register their names at the logbook located at the reception area.

“Let’s unite in support of this collaborative effort led by the City Local Nutrition Committee and City Mayor Joseph George L. Lechonsito… to provide essential hygiene education to our young learners. Your contribution holds the power to positively impact the lives of our children,” the city government said.
