Transition’s final year! CM Ebrahim asks BARMM workers to intensify service delivery to people

Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim has urged the regional government workers to grab the opportunity to heighten service delivery to their constituents as the transition period nears its end.

“This is the last full year of the transition period. Let us make the most of the opportunity given to us; let us continue to serve the Bangsamoro with pure hearts and sincere intentions,” said Ebrahim during the opening ceremony of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament’s third regular session on Tuesday, May 14, inside the Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC) in Cotabato City.

The first Bangsamoro Parliament election will be held in May next year.

Ebrahim underscored the need to pass the remaining priority legislations, including the Revenue and the Indigenous Peoples Codes before the 2025 Bangsamoro parliamentary elections.

The BTA Parliament also eyes the passage of the Bangsamoro Labor Code, Gender Development Code, and Bangsamoro Investment Code.
