More than 300 Kidapawan City Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) have donated blood in the two-day bloodletting activity.
The event was held from August 28 to 29 as part of the BHW Day celebration.
“Tradisyon na sa hanay ng mga BHWs na ipagdiwang ang kanilang taunang annibersaryo ang pagsasagawa ng bloodletting activity bilang tulong na madugtungan ang buhay ng mga lubhang nangangailangan nito,” the city government said.
Aside from the 324 BHWs, other walk-in donors and city government employees also donated blood following the call of Mayor Jose Paolo Evangelista.
