The Lanao del Sur Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) personnel have attended an Emergency Radio Dispatch Training Course.
According to the provincial government, the training program aimed to develop the skills of the PDRRMO staff in emergency call control, information dissemination, and the basic dispatch format for emergency response and incident reports gathering.
During the recent training, the participants were introduced to the Hytera Radio Dispatch System and the San Juan Central Emergency and Disaster Operations Center. The Hytera Radio Dispatch System is a communication system that allows for quick and reliable communication between emergency responders in the field and the operations center. The San Juan Central Emergency and Disaster Operations Center, on the other hand, is a centralized facility that manages and coordinates emergency response activities.
The training program was designed to equip the PDRRMO personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively respond to emergencies and disasters. The training covered various topics, including emergency response protocols, communication strategies, and incident reporting.
