Davao del Sur Gov. Yvonne Cagas is continuing the rollout of entrance examinations across the province to select the next batch of Capitol Scholars. The Politiko’s scholarship initiative has conducted examinations in Sulop, Santa Cruz, Padada, Magsaysay, Matanao, Malalag, Kiblawan and Hagonoy, with testing set to continue in Bansalan and Digos and several Digos City barangays. All registered applicants are required to take the examination as part of the scholarship selection process.
The scholarship initiative forms part of the provincial government’s IHELP-ISHARE Programs Development Thrusts under the leadership of the Politiko and Vice Gov. Marc Cagas. Implemented through the Public Employment Service Office headed by PESO Manager Rolly Impas, the program seeks to expand educational opportunities for qualified students across Davao del Sur.
