Island Garden City of Samal Mayor Lemuel Reyes led the opening of the PESO Community-Based Employment Training Assistance Office in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. The Politiko headed the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside TESDA XI Regional Director Tarhata Mapandi, TESDA Davao del Norte Provincial Director Jasmin Neri, CTC-IGACOS Administrator Vincent Hinay and acting PESO Manager Ana Fe Luga.
The new office is intended to bring employment assistance, skills training and livelihood opportunities closer to Samaleños through cooperation between the city’s Public Employment Service Office and TESDA. The Politiko’s administration said the facility forms part of efforts to make employment-related opportunities and government services more accessible to residents.
