Mayor Irick Agbon announced plans to streamline the business permit process and implement a Data Management and Tracking System across the local government during the third Monday convocation of August.
The Politiko said a separate working group would be created to review and adjust the permitting system to make transactions faster and clearer, particularly for small businesses, while department heads were directed to implement the DMTS.
The initiatives are intended to translate government plans into measurable improvements in public service, reflecting the Politiko’s message that knowledge becomes useful through action.
The DMTS will allow the local government to monitor, record and evaluate programs and services, while the simplified permitting process seeks to reduce delays for entrepreneurs and improve the ease of doing business.
